Dilapidations

Dilapidation is a formal procedure for dealing with the rectification of defects under the terms of a lease. There are several roles;

• acting for the landlord to prepare an interim or terminal schedule
• valuation of diminution of value arising out of the dilapidation
• negotiation on behalf of either the landlord or the tenant
• expert witnesses before a tribunal
• expert advisor.
